Kamron,

None of us wants to hear about your 'stamina' issues. Don't they make blue pills for that

You might like the short sessions, but for me on Hoosiers I take 1-2 laps t heat the tires and the suddenly the session is over

Also, plan for last minute changes. For example, Advanced II only has 2 people in it. They may either combine it with Advanced I, or as last year tell Advanced drivers go out in either 1 in order to balance out the traffic (and/or make it an Instructor session).

But yeah, that is best case scenario and with short runs. One delay for a tow & track cleanup and somebody is missing some time.

Oh - Don't forget to put your tow hook in WITH the extension. Front or rear doesn't matter, though it's nice to pop-off both covers in advance). I have... heard of cases where somebody ( I won't name names to protect myself) got stuck in the gravel with no good access to a place for a tow strap accessible. That meant time for the safety truck to go back to the pits for the tow hook.

Those are great points. I hadn't even thought of R-comps needing more time to warm up, etc. I'll follow your last bit of advice also, but hopefully it won't prove necessary So far, I've always been able to catch my mistakes, accidental "drifts" etc., and maintain my wheels on the pavement.

owned it for about 4 years now. bought it used at 18K miles.

autox'ed on and off for the last 3. only one pad change (oem) in that time.

i wouldn't say i'm easy on my brakes. i am extreemly rough on my car.

are camp fires allowed? or is this the "camping" on par with the one episode of Top Gear where they go RVing?

is it wrong hat i'm more excited about the camping portion of the weekend then the actual track time?

Yes. Maybe you bought the wrong car. I hear the Aztec is great for that.

OUCH! Harsh

And the Aztec isn't great for ANYTHING except perhaps facilitating vomiting.

Don't worry Jeggy, we'll teach you how to use those brakes!

Bah, don't use the brakes, they just slow you down.

Speaking of brakes, I'm going to experiment more with trailbraking and left foot braking. I think trailbrake 3, 5, and 10 and left-footing 7 and maybe 1.

I don't know that I'd jack around too much with 3.

I am (personally) not a big fan of left-foot braking. I have found that after YEARS of driving cars with a clutch pedal, my left foot is GREAT at modulating the pedal while releasing it, but for SHIT when depressing the pedal. I tend to MASH the pedal with my left foot. I'd reccomend AGAINST doing that if the pedal underfoot becomes the brake pedal.
