Default Ken Garff Honda = sucks!

Even though I've got my S2k ordered, I thought I would take a trip to Ken Garff Honda, to see what kind of deal they could give me (since I don't really like LHM). I go in there and start talking to the salesman I had contacted through email. I told him that I wouldn't go higher than MSRP for the car, (since that's the price I got on the car I ordered). He tells me that he will ask the sales manager (the guy in the glass room), and I can hear every word they are saying, and the manager guys says, "there is no way he is getting a yellow one for MSRP. Tell him I'll give one to him (it's being delivered in 8 weeks) for $34k ($2k above msrp), and if it doesn't sell after a month, then I'll give it to him for MSRP." So the guy comes out, and relays this info to me, and I told him I heard their discussion, and that calling me a liar wasn't very cool. I then produced the documentation from the other dealer that showed I was getting the car for MSRP. I said treating potential customers as liars, isn't a very good business practice, and then I left. I know that some yahoo will come in and buy the car for $38k. But that just pissed me off. It's one thing to just say they won't budge on price, but to out right say that I'm lying about getting one for the price I said, just blows. I know that I won't be taking my car for service at Ken Garff.

I hear ya, I hate Ken Garff with a passion. And they just bought Petersen Motors too I was down at Ken Garff Imports for service. I was in an f*cking $120,000 Mercedes CL600 and they treated me like I just walked off the street! What a bunch of arrogant a**holes. Needless to say it looks like I'll be going down to Jody Wilkinson for all my servicing needs.

So I just got a phone call from the salesman at Ken Garff, and he said he talked to his manager and talked him into "letting me have it for MSRP." So he told me they need a deposit which is non-refundable. And they want $350 more OTD than what I've been offered at LHM Honda. So that just confirms that I will not be getting my car from those dicks. Why would I pay more money, and give a non-refundable deposit, when I could pay less, and pay a refundable deposit. Plus he wanted to know financial information from me to verify that I can afford the car. I told him to basically **** off.

Don't forget about how bad Larry H. Miller Honda dealerships are to knowing what a S2000 is

Ask me about this sometime...
