My introduction.
Good luck with your project. Curious what you mean by blown engine. You can do a great F24 motor by hybridizing the H22 from a Prelude and the Crank from the K motor. Check the Internet for the Feb. 2009 issue of Turbo an High Tech performance magazine. Article is " Building a budget 2.4 liter stroker". Best of both worlds.......

Yeah I looked into doing a F24 but I thought about cost. I had a block with score block I would have to sent it in & have it sleeves, get aftermarket pistons because i cant run prelude pistons and if I am sleeving the block I dont wana run H22 rods and have to notch the bottom of some brand new sleeves so I would have to get Inline pro rods. By time time I get the bottom end done it would of ran into the $2000 + just for the bottom end.If I got a used block it would of still cost me $500 plus machine work for honing it and machining the crank, rods, etc. and I was looking at another $500+ to get my head rebuilt with out cams. I've looked at all the options available before doing this swap. but I decided to do this swap because I see more benefit in the long run. lol
