Spring is in the air....

Finished mine now and love it. I could not find an installer I could trust. You will save about $1,000 dollars and know exactly what you have if you do it yourself. New tops are made by Honda, Robbins, and EZ. The definitive threads here can be found in the Texas forum ( not Houston...the other). Look at pinned sticky by Clovis. The othe two are in Under the Hood FAQ. One describes an OEM install and the other a Robbins Glass install (AP1 upgrade). I chose the Robbins cloth with rear glass window as the best of all worlds. OEM is a perfect fit but replaces parts which are perfectly good. Robbins is a perfect fit (for me anyways). The EZ is good as well but quality appears to be inconsistent from what I read. Order from Topsonline and mention you are on S2Ki. Shipping is free then. I would highly recommend the cloth (as does Clovis). Please feel free to let me know if you need help or want to borrow the Rivet Puller or Angled screwdriver mentioned in the threads; I have both. Did the Beak's Rear Bar last night, received my Wasp Composite Splitter today (thanks Bryan). Still need to paint my salvaged Mugen Spoiler but too cold out.....Dooooh! I love spring and so does "Electra" my beloved S of 12 years .

P.S. If you would like to see the Robbins in person send me a PM. I'll be home next weekend

If an installer is gonna charge around 1 grand then i'll for sure do it myself; I just want it done now! haha thannks for all the great info, I know that I'm definitely going Robbins top, just dont know what kind yet. Seems like Robbins is the better brand. I might take you up on checking yours out, thanks. My top is probably the worst top in utah as of right now; black gorilla tape and all!

You're lucky man, mine has 3 huge tears on each corner, then the last corner is a actual hole, haha! Idk man, where are you finding used ones, and how much cheaper are they? I think more expensive robbins top is around $800?
