How old is your car's battery? Most Honda's use smaller batteries that usually die betweem 4-5 uears.
Mine was doing something similar lately (original battery). I replaced it and the problem went away. Also check that the terminals are free from corrosion and are tight.

Is Canadian Mobile 1 the same as the US Mobile 1? I've been told that depending on the country, that oil has different base stocks.. is that true? If it's different I would love to try that out.

I've heard that too, but I don't think so. Both versions are made in the US. All group 3 M1 oils are made in the US. Only their group 4 stuff is made in Europe.

So then the North American stuff is Group 3 while the European stuff is Group 4? I wonder what they are putting into the wife's Benz at the dealership?

Motul is the way to go!

We supply this engine oil, so if you need a quote on an oil change or even just picking up fluids or filters, feel free to contact me and I can get everything quoted for you!

On a side note, I would stay away from Mobil1 since it is a vtec killer.

Regards,

Jason @ AJR

Generally speaking, group 3 oils are made from mineral base stock. Group 3 oils include most synthetic oils that cost less than $10 a L at crappy tire. Things like Castrol, mobil 1, Penzoil Platinum, etc.
Group 4 oils use true synthetic base. German Castrol 0W30 is a group 4 oil. motul 8100 and 300V are made from group 4 base.

^^Thanks for the clarification. I've heard that when engaging the v-tec (high rpms) tends to burn Group 3 oils so I now switched to Amsoil 10w-30. I was hoping that Canadian Mobil 1 was Group 4 but I guess it's still the same as ours.
