wooooow this makes me so hyped to get mine done on the 27th

how does paint get that shitty in the first place? was the previous owner just bad at washing or is it a result of not getting regular waxes?

LOL. I bought the subie as a winter DD so at the time the paint wasn't a priority for me. It did look like he used an SOS pad to detail the car before me.
Your BB S is gonna look like black glass after they're done Matt!!

I imagine the previous owner was probably lazy and used the tire brushes at car wash stations over his entire car. That combined with no paint protection, could do this to your paint over a few years.

It was definitely the worst I've seen...

It was not cool. It fell about 4 ft straight onto the concrete. When I picked it up off the ground, the front UV filter was shattered into pieces and at first I thought it was the front element of my 18-200. It was a traumatizing experience lol. The threads of the UV filter were bent, it took me about half an hour to thread the filter off. I couldn't believe there was no other damage. Nikon cameras are bulletproof!!!

I am doing Matt15's S this weekend, will be able to give you a better answer of how long after we are done.

EDIT: I should clarify though. The size of the car is not the only determining factor, it's the condition of the paint. Some cars need a 1 stage polish, some 2, and in some cases like this thread, 3-4 stage.

Please PM me with any inquiries of your own. Thanks guys!
