I would go back to the dealership. Tell them how you take exceptional care of your car and how this scratch definitly wasn't there when you brought it in. Tell them you had friends in your car the day before that can attest to that. Tell them it is no big deal for them to fix the problem and if they don't that you are a member of the Vancouver S2Ki forum and that you will post your experience on that forum as well as S2000.ca if something isn't done about it.

I had a complete seat redone for around $100.00. I doubt it would cost that much to fix your scratch but the dealer has to know that not fixing it has reprecussions. Most of them say no upfront just to see if you have the balls to pursue it.

Got another CEL today. Used the paperclip trick and got 9 long 0 short. Searching around this means something do to with the evap system? Have any of you experienced this before?

EDIT: cel turned out to be a loose gas cap...

post #3 "9-0 is an evap leak of some kind, but you need the real DTC to get a specific problem. "

To many codes for too many different faults.
You need a real code to even be pointed in the right direction or all you're really getting is advice from people who have, "had their check engine light come on before".

If it is actually an EVAP code there's:
- Large Leak: There's a large leak somewhere (broken hose, hose not connected)
- Small Leak: There's a small leak somewhere (usually loose gas cap or bad gas cap)
- Incorrect Flow: The flow through the EVAP system is wrong (seen this from hooking up 2 vacuum lines backwards, usually near air box)

There's more but those are the most common EVAP codes that come up (across all vehicles makes/models).
If I were in Van I'd help you out, (but I'm not) so if you get a real code, post it up. There is, however, only so much you can do without being in front of the car.

According to Google (as I can't memorize all the codes) that's to do with 'EVAP Purge Flow Low'.
- Suspect sticking Purge Valve.
- I've also seen the insides of hoses become deteriorated and get clogged, but never on Hondas.

Like I said before though, without testing myself it's all just guesses from actual personal experience.
