Default Does anyone have a front facing child seat in their S?

Hello,

I have a 2007 S2000 with the airbag seat weight sensor. Thus far we exclusively drive our daughter in my wife's car, but in the event I have to drive her in the S, I want to make sure I can install a car seat properly.

First off, which child seat are you using?

In my searches here, I came across a post that indicated one of the differences between US and Canadian market S2000s is that cars sold in Canada have the anchor point installed (somewhere in the rear firewall I would imagine) to attach the child seat rear tether. Can anyone who has installed a child seat in the S2000 confirm that this is the case? And if so, indicate where this anchor point is located and/or ideally post a picture?

Thanks very much for your help,
Phil

I'm not sure where the anchor point is, but in my previous S, the owner had some sort of airbag module where you can turn on/off the airbags. It's probably recommended to turn off the airbag if you are planning to use a car seat

Good idea. They should make a law about that...

Need one of those modules,no way I'm waiting till my sons like 10 before we enjoy the s together. I was disappointed to see that Recaro car seats are not legal in Canada even though they are more strictly tested than the crap they sell here. Money grab imo

The airbags do not turn on if the person/child sitting in the car is under 50lbs.
