Default High compression with mild boost...10psi

So most people lower compression and increase boost to get more power, but that setup would probably not be ideal for track. How about high compression with mild boost?

I am sure this topic has been beaten to death, but I still want to discuss and get some ideas from you knowledgeable people!

As some of you might know, my brand new engine was damaged. Sent it to the machine shop, they bored out the scratch on the cylinder walls and said a set of oversized piston should fix it no problem. AJ has a set of Spoon 2.2L stoker kit with complete balanced oversized piston, rings, rods, and crankshaft. This should be perfect to drop into the block. The stroker kit also increases the compression ratio to 11.7:1.

Now i am thinking this should be a good combo with the kraftwerks supercharger kit boosting at 10psi. The kraftwerks is well known for having a very efficient charger. Along with the slightly increased compression, the throttle response should be very good and power delievery should be very linear, which is good for track.

What do you guys think? Would this be a good setup?

Try it out and let us know what happens. I'd be interested in seeing numbers if the motor holds.
