Default How smooth is your shifter?

I've noticed when i shift the stick into 1st and 2nd gear it's not very smooth...is this normal in the S? I haven't driven a different S than my own in a while so I can't remember if the other car did this too.

it does happen... especially for 1st to 2nd when it's cold. It's rare but mine did pop out from 2nd once or twice.

I would consider it normal... it bothered me when I first got my S but after constant reading, seems notchy shifters are normal in these cars

mine is 2nd, and some times, 3(rare).
i alway warm my car. so i don't think warmup is an issuse.
well,, i guess, if the car is still under warrenti, you can take down to dealer, and ask them to test drive.
i am sure,, if there is a problem, they'll fix it
cause it'll cause 2000+ if problem is cost by transmision, or gear box. if they found problem not cost by abuse

change your oil ( transmision ),, will help maintain.
