^^^^^^^^^ wow what a read....

Welcome to the s2000 community.

As for your car research i would keep an eye on the u.s. market they do have some very good deals down there.not to say there are no local deals out there keep an eye on craigslist, the province/ the sun, and other local sources. I bought an 06 with less km than that 03 and for less than it.(i watched for 6 months before i bought and found the right car) i also think that the honda way does have very high prices, but maybe if your a smooth talker you can grab a deal. Is GPW the only colour that your looking for? and is 25k your maximum ? good luck on the hunt and welcome to s2ki

Keep in mind that if you were to bring up an S2000 from the states, the money you save could put you well on the way towards buying a time machine so that the warranty you're concerned with is valid again. The money you'd have to spend on a Canadian car AND a time machine would be enough to buy a really decked out new Insight.
And in regards to wanting a GPW S2000, you should definitely go for one, as that colour has the magical properties of being considered rare despite half the cars locally being that colour.

Nice pick up on your 06. I'm mainly searching for a GPW, Silverstone, or Sebring Silver. Correct, I would not like to spend more than that. I'm currently weighing my options and exploring more opportunities. Thanks for all the valuable information!

^ That is true. I searched out a GPW with black/red interior and purchased it because it was concidered rare. Now almost every second one I see is GPW.

Don't be so hooked on the color of the car making it unique...., you can make it unique enough after you have it. It's an addiction.

Welcome! Good luck on your search!

Lionel, from the Island, is selling his GPW. It's a 2006 and he's not a dealer though: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/840...2k-price-drop/

Your sarcasm is dearly noted lol. I personally like the colour white on vehicles in general; I am not searching for one because it is classified as "rare" or because of the apparent, "half the cars locally (are) that colour", if that was what you were insinuating. I have been finding a hard time searching for a GPW s2000 simply because of the lack of supply. Under these circumstances, I can only try my best and if unavailable, I shall opt for a Silverstone or Sebring Silver if conditions allow for it. Thank you guys for your PMs and contributions! Keep them coming. They are muchly appreciated!

Hi,

I saw his advertisement a while back, it is certainly a nice looking car. I am currently exploring my options a bit further as many of the members on here have suggested (i.e. States, private sale, etc...). Thank you for bringing that to my attention!

I like the GPW as well and the different shades of grey (i.e. Sebring Silver & Silverstone). Personally, I find the red interior a little too much for my eyes...so ever since I found out about the beige interior, it has really grown on me and I fell in love lol!

id like eldumbasso to admit he is being sarcastic before we assume so. Time machines are becoming much more affordable and it's possible on could purchase one depending on the amount saved when purchasing a vehicle.

In my opinion silverstone is too common. Almost 75% of the S2000's I see are silverstone. I personally if going for a shade of grey would go for the moonrock I think it is called. I can vouch for Lionel's car. It is in excellent shape, and has rather low miles. He comes on rides with us all the time, and currently has my old lip protector on it. Black interior only and completely stock.
