Hey guys,

I'm new to s2ki, but have lurked around the site for a while...doing some reading and such. From what I've seen so far, it seems like a great site...very informative.

Well I just picked up my first S2000 on Monday, Aug. 14. It's an '01 with only 56,000 km's and it's in pretty mint condition. It's bone stock at the moment, but I will be doing some mods soon.

Here is a pic of my new S:


First mod on my list is an AP1 oem front lip. I also now have the the S2000 emblems on the side...but I've left the "H" emblems off.

So I just wanted to say hi and what's up to all the locals in my area. I know a few of the guys on here, but that's it. Well you'll be seeing a lot more of me on here.

anyways..you are welcome to come to the meet on sunday august 27th!!!......hopefully you can come...it'll be a good opportunity to come out and meet the faces of some of the s2k owners.

Mike, welcome to S2ki! congrats on the purchase. VCC is alot more fun and amusing then s2ki but then again, there are alot more members. Good to see a good guy join our community.

Oh yeah..forgot to mention that I did my first mod to the S last night...compustar alarm. Can never be too safe...especially in the lower mainland. I know it's not full proof...but at least it's something...plus I love the auotstart...I had the same alarm on my EM1.

how much did you pay for it?!?!.....i was alwaz thinking about getting it but they cost soo much but then its prob cheaper than replacing the soft top or..replacing the deck...or even replacing the whole car...haha
