Another thing is if you're using Paypal, make sure it's attached to your credit card and NOT you bank account. CC companies have A LOT more invested and will almost always give you your money back once they found out that you've been scammed. Then getting the money back will be their problem and not yours.
Paypal is just a middle man, and they don't give a rat's ass about your money or the credit card or whatever. They get their cut regardless.
