Ah, I didn't realize you were referring to aftermarket hardware. I've never looked into it. I wonder if it's the same, worse or better than OEM? My big complaint with the OE hardware is that the front hardtop latches prematurely wear/get loose fairly quickly.

I can't really answer that since I don't have the hardtop yet. are you talking about the front brackets?

I think one of you guys should buy my top! lol

It's OEM and condition is in brand new condition. No scratches, dents or otherwise. Includes all the OEM hardware.

I don't think anyone could argue against the fit and finish of OEM. Looks OTOH is personal preference. My preference is the OEM top...I think the Mugen tops and replicas makes the roofline look too much like a Mercedes.

The only question is whether you have a RYP? Or would want to paint?

I'm guessing about 50 lbs. You can lift it easily weight-wise, but it's awkward due to the size.

I haven't actually weighed both, but judging from a best guess lifting them, the soft top/frame motors weighs mores than the hardtop. Not sure how much, but from numbers I've read on here, maybe about 30-ish pounds difference. Unless you are track racing your car and trying to eek out the last 10ths or 100ths in time, it's not going to make that much difference. My car came without a soft top and only a hardtop. I want the functionality of the soft top so I added one back on. I had a hardtop for my Miata and never used it...hence the reason I am selling this one off my S.

If you remove the soft top and just have an OEM hard top, you'll save 33 lbs.
