The OEM is aluminum. Without the glass, it weighs very little. The glass adds a lot of weight.

^^ what she said. It's OEM, and judging from the weight, it's aluminum.

You can tell when you lift it, that the top and front are very light. The window in the back is where a good part of the weight comes from.

I have a question. Its stupid but, can u drive ur s without the tonneau cover? Like long drive or something. Cos if u speed it yt just fly ryt off?

Yeah the tonneau cover is not required, my car didn't even come with one and many don't because people throw them out I guess. It looks better and I imagine it's better for aerodynamics but it's not all that practical.

Oh ok. Cos im just really scared if i drive and all of a sudden my softtop is gone. So its fine then even tho ur going more than 100kmh?

Should be safe up to top speed I would imagine otherwise it would be a real liability.

Mine flew out once. I had to stop and go back to put it back in. Now I never leave with my tonneau cover.

Buy my hardtop. It's oem with carbon fibre option. Best one around. I'm just selling it cuz I decided to downgrade. It'll solve all your problems.

mine actually flew out 3 times without the tonneau cover
