Wtb 04-09 s2000
Looking to buy a 2004-2009 AP2 S2000 within a reasonable distance from central Ohio. Budget is $20,000 (potentially more for the right car).
Would like to meet the following criteria:
-clean title
-body/interior in good/excellent shape
-prefer lower miles, but would consider a higher mileage car depending on cosmetic and mechanical condition
-would prefer a stock example
Shoot me an email at carguy5445@yahoo.com

These cars are not all the same and the differences are more than just the wheels. 2004 - 2005 cars have a mechanical throttle. 2006 and later cars are Drive By Wire which allows the car to be easily tuned for significant mid-range power as well as standard traction and stability control (which can be toggled off when playing or acting stupidly (not always the same thing)
).
Make a priority list. Those at the top are mandatory, those toward the bottom nice to have. My list was headed by "2006 or later" for the reasons above. Followed by "under 50K miles", and the usual condition criteria. Color was not on the list so my car is the very common Silverstone which is surprisingly rare in 2006. Found one with 38K miles at a Honda dealer in Worthington. Fully serviced and detailed etc.
Look for cars for sale here and the typical sales sites like AutoTrader.

Good to know about being able to modify for more mid range power with the fly by wire throttle in the 06-later cars.
