i know this has probably been beaten into the ground but search isn't working and i browsed the first 4 pages of the forum. is it an easy operation to switch MY00 stockers for MY04 ones? what do i need to do?

 

Well the tires themselves obviously won't fit. 04+ are 17" and 00-03 are 16". Now if you're asking if the wheel/tire combo will swap over then yes, no problems there.

 

Get '04 rims.

 

i JUST put some on my 03.lastnight....I can honestly say I do feel less of a pickUp slightly,but hey..it looks diff. and nice when standing still.(and simple tire/wheel swaps from now on,for season changes)..but a 1" drop would do more justice to the look I have now..(and Lip is mandatory to give it that iLL look.hah)

 

It is very simple. Just put the new wheels and tires on the car and bolt them down.

 

Hey Jim..(or anyone for that matter),,Is it ok to run the AP2 OEM's in the rear,and AP1 16"s in the front?.I havent really seen anyone ask this (of course it wouldnt look too good,,but im curious to know)..let me know,thanks

 

cool. i just wasn't sure about offsets. it sucks that you can notice the decreased acceleration, but i plan on getting 4.57's anyways. plus, almost all 350z's pretty much have rims (and chromes at that) so we're even. any pics of nice aftermarket 16's/17's while the thread is alive?
