Default Michelin Pilot PS2 experiences?

After looking through some reviews and asking local tires stores here, I am becoming very interested in trying out the Michelin Pilot PS2.

Unfortunately, the PS2s don't come in a size comparable for the 04+ front rims. I have seen people suggesting to upsize their front and back tires to 225/255. Unfortunately, I was not able to find any reviews of people who have actually tried to this with PS2s.

Has anyone tried this on stock wheels from an 04+ S2k?

For anyone who hasn't used them and know alot of about tires: Would there be any problems with space in the wheel well (specifically not being able to lock the wheel in a turn)? Would this chnage the handling characteristics of the car greatly?

Thanks for anyone's input!

had been using this setup for 3 mths. 225 front 255 rear. prior to this, had RT615 fro a week, same size, didnt like it.

This set is my daily drive. In terms of of comfort, somewhat better than the semi slicks Bridgestones RE55S. Not as noisy. But who cares, when the doning sound of my exhaust overrules everything.

Grip wise, Im very happy with it, IMHO better than RT615.

Price wise I paid the equivent of USD1k for the setup above.

hope this helps!

The PS2's are one of the best all around performance tires. I tracked a Porsche 997 for two days with the PS2 and they were very good in both wet and dry. The 225/45R17 and 255/40R17 will fit no problem on the factory wheels.
If I can help let me know.
