I wanted to buy these wheels coz they weigh very little. I was wondering could I run 245/40/17 or 255/40/17 on the rears? What about the fronts? Thanks

I would keep looking. Those are a minor step above ap1 wheels and a step below ap2s. Those sizes would allow you to run 205 or a 215 in the front and a 225 or 235 in the rear.

They are more than a step up. They are actually a lot lighter wheel than the stock AP1 or AP2 wheels. The front wheel is 14.1 lbs and the rear is 14.8 lbs. You can run the 215/45R17 and 245/40R17 with these wheels. You may need a little negative camber.
If I can help let me know.

would 235/45/17 OR 235/40/17 be good in the rear?

Jim,

Could I run these K4R's in 17x8 (+50, 6.45" backspacing) all around with 245/40/17's? On a 2007 S2000, stock suspension with about -1.5 degrees camber, for road racing purposes, so expecting the suspension to get compressed/set in the corners.

Thanks!

It would work fine, but I'd stick to 245- if not then 235/40. The speedo will show a 1-2 mph faster then actual, but the slight gear reduction would be preferred over the bigger gear increase of moving to a 45 series. Your going for light anyway. The 235/45 will be heavier.

I'd say yes no problem, may need to play with camber a little, possibly a bit more aggressive up front. Jim may or may not agree.

I'm running 215/45/17 on my front and 245/40/17 on my rear with 17x7 and 17x8 wheels (not these but same size with lower offsets) no problem with no issues (not lowered in any way either).
