im planning on getting 17x8 +45 rear rims but dont know what tire size to go with. my car is currently stock height but plan on lowering it soon, maybe just about an inch. i want to avoid any rubbing or fender rolling in the future when i lower the car. would 245/40/17 be the best size?

I agree with the 245/40R17. With the 45mm offset you may need a little negative camber depending on the specific tire. If I can help with the tires let me know.
