17x9 too wide?
Any problems? Not if you don't consider blowing out your tires and fenders a problem.
That won't fit at all front or back. You need probably at least a +55 offset for an 8" front and close to a +65 offset for a 9" rear.

Actually 17x9 you could run 55 offset and up, 63 prefer. I got 18x9.5 with 62 offset in the back. Running Tein Stech springs with 1" drop. I could get 1 and 1/2 fingers in between top of tire and wheel wall. And i have no issue with the back rubbing, even at high speed!!

Will I have any problems, lowered on Buddy Club coilovers?
Also, what size tires are recommended?
Thanks!
