Default 215 on a 17X7.5 +40

Few days ago my girlfriend buy me a set of te37 comes with 7.5 + 40 in the front and 8.5 +50 I am thinking to put 215 and 255 on them, I know the rear will work but don't know about the front . Can anyone help me out here( don't want to do any body work to the car)

Stock ride height you might be ok. Large bumps and driveways you may still rub. Lowered you will need to roll the fenders front and rear. Probably need a little camber too.

Thanks for your reply then I may end with 205 F and 245 R so I don't need to do all that work to make them fit right?

You'll be ok with the stock width in the front with a +40

Front is fine. I run a 17x7.5 +40 with a 215 tire. i rub the fender well but i'm lowered at least ~1.3"

You'll be fine with stock height.
