Default 215/35/17 front 225/45/17 rear suggestions?

purchased a set of wheels with tires already mounted
the rim specs are 17x8 +35 offset all around
with 225/45/17 tires all around
I plan to leave the rear wheels with these tires
but I want to replace the front tires with something less meaty so I can go lower without hitting the fender
so I was thinking 215/35 for a very slight tire stretch.
would there be a problem running
215/35 front
225/45 rear
?
I have rolled the rear fenders already.
any help and suggestions would be appreciated
thanks

215 35 is far too small. If you want less meat but still want to be reasonable do 225 40. 225 45 is the correct sizing for the wheels however.

215/45-17 would work up front. 215/35-17 would be absurd, 2" smaller vs. stock diameter, would look ridic, would also overly bias braking to the front.
