Staggered tires on non staggered wheels
Hey I was wondering is there a difference in staggered wheels with staggered tires vs non staggered wheels with staggered tires? For example, if I had 17x8 all around with 225/45/17 fronts and 245/40/17 rears vs 17x7.5 fronts with 225/45/17 and 17x9 rears with 245/40/17. Thanks

If you're going staggered with the tires anyway, better to go with appropriate wheel widths at both ends rather than having sorta stretched tires up front and sorta pooched tires in back.
FWIW, 225/45-17 fronts will look quite beefy relative to 245/40-17 rears.
I'd go either:
215/45-17 F, 245/40-17 R
215/45-17 F, 255/40-17 R
225/45-17 F, 255/40-17 R

I'd go either:
215/45-17 F, 245/40-17 R
215/45-17 F, 255/40-17 R
225/45-17 F, 255/40-17 R

just bought a set of 18x9 +55 all around and the fronts came with 225s on the front and I put 255s on the rear... Has been perfectly fine for me so far, I will eventually go 255 all around after rolling my fenders and adding some camber
