255/45 or 255/40 for 16's
I've
about special ordering some 16X9 wheels from CCW specifically the LM20s
IMO the best looking wheel ever made
butt...
Recently I began shopping for tires something for the "Non-staggered & meatty tires" look that I
so much. The obvious choice was a 255 tire and I think a sidewall of 40 or 45 would look nice.
The closest I've been able to find is a bridgestone tire that is a 255/50 which just seems a little too meaty for my taste.
Can anyone help me out. Or should I just give up on this pipedream and get some 17's like everyone else?

255/45/16 - could not find any
245/45/16 - only 1 street tire, the rest are pure track
Not many companies are making tires for 16's anymore. I would think you would be able to get your wheel of choice made in a 17. I like the look of 16's to but I choose tire selection over looks.
