If the car was taken care of that well previously, I see no reason why you would want to put the car through a Midwest winter. I'm personally from the Midwest and I would rather ride a bike as transportation than drive my car during the winter.

Regardless of what you read the salt will be a pain IMO and experience. Like another user said. Buy a cheap beater to daily drive during the winter months. I've bought and sold multiple cars to use as winter beaters, and if you know what you're doing, and are patient to find a good deal you can either make money or easily break even.

I just don't think it's worth it personally... Especially if the car is as well taken care of as you claim.

We'll said!! Get a beater front wheel drive for your winter car. The s2000 was never meant to be a snow car. Keep the car nice and clean.
