I am putting these on stock 2008 rims. The only reasons I choose these tires is because I was told 400whp guys can spin the 265 star specs and Im at 520whp right now.

You can spin the tires at stock power levels depending on how you drive the car. At 500+ WHP you're not going to make it impossible to spin the rear tires - especially in the lower gears. That doesn't it's a good idea to fit track tires for the street.

Have you considered getting wider wheels? I would think 275 is pushing it width wise on an 8.5" wheel. Also, if this is a street driven car, stick to the Star Specs or NT05s. If it is a drag toy, consider the others. Or, run 2 sets of wheels and tires, one for track, one for street.

I'm running the Toyo RA-1 in 235 and 275 sizes on 7-1/2 and 9 inch wheels with over 500 rwhp.
I was getting concerned about replacements and then I discovered that Toyo is making the RA-1 again.
The R888 just doesn't cut it.
