The general rule of the thumb is you should have as much thread engagement as the width of the bolt. As has already been mentioned, with 7 mm spacer, you are losing 4+ threads of engagement.
I put longer studs on for just 3mm spacer, but I have no desire to lose a wheel while taking a corner at 110 mph.

it has alot to do with the lugs your using as well, the more rounded the mounting face is the more stud length you give up, also the lug mounting profile on the wheel.
I've driven incredibly aggressive on 7mm front spacer without any issue.
So youre running 7mm spacers without issues?

Wow... amazing that you're willing to risk both your car and your life for 7mm of extra "flush". You've already been told that what you're wanting to do is very dangerous.
I have a set of 6mm spacers that I tried on the car once. I do not use them because I only got about 4 or 5 turns of the lug nuts to tighten them. That would be about 6mm thread engagement.

I ended up removing the spacers and shaving down the face of the calipers 6mm instead because I didnt like the wider track in the front, but I did many miles on them through rough canyon roads ect without problems.
Well, I guess what your asking then if anyone has ran 7mm spacers dispite everyone saying not too and if they were man enough to admit their wheels fell off.
Do you think if that person's wheels flew off and it wasnt caught on video by someone else he'd actually hop no the forums and and say
"hey guys, you said I shouldnt and I didnt listen. So i found out what it feels like for an s2000 to drag itself accross the pavement using the floor pan to slow it down. I should have listened"
Perhaps you'd like to be the first? It would be totally worth it I think.

wait so you grinded down the caliper??? its alright instead of one or two of your wheels falling off i guess you'll just have your brakes fall apart on you....
this is like the thread on fake brides... why risk your life to save a couple of bucks.... if you don't want to spend the extra 300-500 bucks to do something right just save up and do it later or don't do it at all... we dont need another s2000 flying into a telephone pole because of someone's brakes failing

Yeah just me and 10,000 other people every year who shave down calipers for wheel fitment all over the world. People who race on those calipers not troll forums to call other people dumb because they don't know anything more than someone told them one time.
BTW when you think you know more about the subject especially for Hondas than Randy at Fastbrakes LMK. Chances are though you have not even 1/10th the experience nor the knowledge that this is common practice.
