+1 to Duke Togo on shaving down calipers

Alot of people shave down the logo to clear rims or for weight reduction.
If you think about the design internally, it will still be "flat" inside and thickness would remain more consistant with shaving anyway. Bit hard to explain without diagrams but I don't see any structural weakness from doing it.
Going beyond shaving the logo though, I'm not so certain about. That said, some of the logos are thicker than they should be functionally...

Back on topic. I personally avoid spacers at all costs as does my local racing brake shop and a few of the engineers/fabricators in the racing industry.

- Spacers depending on material can warp and cause uneven surface area contact causing multiple issues
- Strain on the studs is increased as the greater the distance from the pivot point, the greater the amount of torque is applied... ie. with more spacers/distance from the hub, and more force/impact the more likely something is going to break
- The wheel relies less on the center hub as it's support and more so on the studs, causing even more fatigue
- Put any track work into this and you essentially accelerate any fatigue on these items

After warning from Racebrakes, it woke me up so I did some research... I'm no engineering/physics major but it just states the obvious to me of how dangerous it is.
Of course they will be fine initially but I would monitor them very closely over time if you do use them...
