A048's +s2000=?
Was wondering If anyone is running these tires on thier s2k and If so how do you like them with the s2k, I'm asking cause my dads lotus exige has these and they're superb, but its hard to compare the tires when they're on two completely different cars. I'll be ordering some wheels in a couple months preparing myself for some summer fun with the s2k as I plan to take It up to mid-ohio and maybe hit up some autocross tracks....also planning to get the T1R coil-overs on the car about the same time.

Do they make fitments for OEM ap1 rims?
I can tell you that I get about 4500 miles out of a set of rears on my Lotus Elise with the AO48's which is three sets of rears to one set of fronts! The S2000 is a bit heavier and I would think the tread life would be less - It is an "R" compund with a 60 treadwear rating - I am going to run Falken Azenis RT-615 for my next set which has a 200 treadware rating but still outperforms most other street tires. I am hoping to get 8 to 10 thousand miles from the Falkens! The grip with the Yokos is awesome but at a price!

A048's actually come in two different compounds. The Lotus comes with a slightly harder compound than what is actually for sale by Tirerack.
With anything more than a -2 Camber you will eat these tires up like crazy on the street!

Hankook RS-2 Z212 >> Azenis The best tire I ever had on my celica were the BF Goodrich KDW 300 treadwear and they only lasted one season of autocross but I never placed less than top three and every time we did touge my tires never got hot. I kinda wanna try them on the S2k but I got a deal on the Hankooks (free shipping). My buddy ran the azenis then switched to hankook's and likes them better.
If you like the A048's. You should get the Neova. IMO the best street tire out there. Yes they're more pricey but they out perform almost all street tires in comparable wear ratings and they have the lowest rolling resistance of street tires.
