Default Advan A032R questions...

almost at 10k miles my car now needs new rears. now my question is would it be ok to run the advan a032r's in the rear with the stock s-02's in the front? what are the negative effects of this? i know that the advans dont last very long, but to they actually handle a lot better than the stockers? my car is not a daily driver and rarely see's rain. i currently drag race a lot and plan to autocross as well. will advans suite me?
thanks
MIke

I'm also planning on doing this soon, but in all four corners. Daily driver, but I don't go anywhere that often enough. =)

I would not recommend to mix these two tires. The set of four would be fine but you will end up with severe understeer in the dry and just the opposite in the wet.
I would recommend to only do the four tires. It can be a dangerous situation.
Let me know if I can help.

I'm thinking of getting these, but the tread life is sooooo low, S02 tread life is low enough for me... anybody have experience with this?

The A032R is a competition tire that only has 6/32" tread depth. Your OE tires start with 10/32". If you are tracking the car and a little street mileage it would be a good tire. If it is just for the street I would not recommend it.
