Default What tires to get

Well the sunny summer in Washington is over. Its raining again and probably won't let up much til next June.

My car has close to 18k on it. The Rear S02's are pretty much done or will be after this weekends autox.

I was wondering what tires your think I should buy? Washington can get very rainy and I might be using the car to commute on the freeway a lot this year. The S02 aren't the best in the rain and I don't plan on doing any racing on the street. I was thinking of going to a better rain tire. Preferrably something cheap, around $100 a piece.

Or should I just get a new set of rear S02's?

I would say the Fuzion ZRI at 73.00 front and 82.00 rear. They will be a good wet and dry handling tire with a little longer wear than the stock tires. In tests that were done they handled better than the Kumho 712 and the Yoko ES100 in the wet and were comparable to the ES100 in the dry.
If I can help let me know.

I got four new Fuzions in July and would highly recommend them, especially for the price I got (under $400 installed, taxes, etc.). These are excellent tires based on the same Uni-T technology as the Re750 but for much less $. The performance has been execellent except of course they do not have the ultimate traction of the SO2--especially at higher speeds (over 50 or 60). They have a little more "give" than the SO2 but are also quieter and should last (I hope) twice as long. Go for it.
