after market wheels

What would you recommend for wheels and tire size for a 2001 S2000? Looking to change from the stock 16 inch. Thanks in advance for all your help.

17x8 >=+48 225/45/17 -f
17x9 >=+55 255/40/17 -r

You'll want a 5-10mm diff between the front and rear offsets. You willing to roll your fenders?

Just go with OEM AP2 V1's or V2's

Depends what you're doing with the car, imo
non-staggered is the best option
