Alarm Systems
Lojack with the Early Warning System was $995 arranged through the dealer. No monthly or recurring costs... except for replacing batteries in the key fob.
Tested mine out last night. Worked well... after I figured out one of the key fob battery was drained. Replaced battery, let the key fob re-sync with system, and removed for a quick drive. After about 25 min, I got the calls/text page/e-mail... Time to test the second fob.
Still considering the DEI Viper aftermarket alarm... my S2k came with the factory alarm.

When I bought my s2k It came with the junky ass alarm system that was poor as hell and anyone in the block can just take it.....I recommand buying a after market alarm liek the Viper remote alarm!

i had compustar 2wss-as for about 2 months.
the design of remote is retarded.
buttons on the remote gets pushed simply leaning on something if it's in your pocket.
also the size & battery life is horrible.
so i went and got it replaced with 2w900fm-as since all compustars use same unit,
except for antenna & remote.
range got shorter by half but it's newer design/unit, smaller remote, better battery life.
about LoJack, i'd suggest GuidePointSystems.
it also allows you to start/lock/unlock/locate your car with phonecall
cost? it's way more than lojack.
