I had a very scary experience in my S last year on a rainy night with standing water. The problem was caused by my own stupid driving error. Luckily, there was no harm done. But, it was a big wake up call. I will be changing worn tires earlier rather than later from now on. Once I get to 4/32 I'll be ordering new tires. Its not worth it to eek out a few more miles

I've never used anything other than standard all season and snow tires on my vehicles until this S. I have been using a max performance tire - Bridgestone Potenza S04. I really like the way it performs on the street and I think I will just stick with it.
