Default another tire recommendation post!

Time to get some new tires! I live in the SF bay area so we don't get snow, just rain occasionally. I use my S2000 as a weekend car and currently am lowered with a 1 inch fendergap, running WORK EMOTION CRs with KUMHO MX in 215/45/17 fr 245/45/17 rear. They are pretty nice tires, but considering that I put only a 2-3 thousand miles a year and want an emphasis on dry handling with some wet capability I'd like to explore my options. From my description, it sounds like the tires will rot before they wear out. I'd like to hear opinions on cost vs benefit if I upgrade to another tire model. I'm open to all input. thanks!

+1 for Hankooks (RS2). Thats what I plan on getting for my car since I don't drive it much but I do autocross 9 months out of the year (and can't afford $200/tire Hoosiers)

Euro Tuner rated the MX number 1 in a test on G's on the skid pad. Bang for the buck on a tire that can handle aggresive driving they are very good.
If I can help let me know.
