Default Anyone used ContiSports?

Hi all,

Looking for an alternative tyre to the S02, to improve the wet-weather behaviour and the on-limit progression.

The UK seem to prefer Toyo T1-R's as the main alternative, and I know you guys rate Falkens. But I've had no luck in the UK with anyone having tried ContiSports, so I thought I'd ask all you guys.

I ask because I've no experience with Toyos or Falkens, but the Conti's on my Focus (diff't car though) are VERY impressive tyres in all conditions, and they came 2nd in the 'evo' group test a couple of years back. But I'm also aware the S2k is RATHER sensitive to tyre choice.

So I was wondering if anyone on here had tried them, and with what results?

Thanks all,

Martin.

My brother has them on his SVT Focus.. they are very impressive tires. I think they come OEM on M3s and 911s, so they must work on rear drive dynamics as well.

buddy's CL500 has a set of Continental ContiSport, they grip strong and have a very smooth ride. Most German Manufacturer's are turning towards Continental now.
