Default Ap1 weekend tracking

Got my used ap1 for weekend tracking and joys of each step of evolution now is the time for upgrading need for new wheels ( existing ones bent ) so interested to know recommendations for size ( widest possible, currently wheels r 7 ) do not want to alter fenders. suspension not lowered dramatically with bilstens now in place. Appreciate any feedback recommendation for tracking. Thanks

Tire rack TRM C3 in 17*9 square. Cheap, high offset, look decent.

I you go with a square/non stag set up on your ap1, be prepared to change out your sway bars and id recommend adding a rear wing. You will have a handful of an over steer beast to control at speed otherwise. Id shy away from it myself unless your quite accomplished and understand what this means. Generally a 225/255 stagger on a a relatively stock ap1 is favored for good handling and performance. If your prepared to start upgrading suspension, playing with sway bar weight front and rear and get into the chassis tuning etc then by all means running the same width tires front and back can be done. Its done with less effort/modification on a stock ap2 however. Just know what your getting into. Non stag isn't by default better/faster then a staggered fit. I don't run one.
