According to Best Motoring and Mr. Keiichi Tsuchiya, AP2 wheels and tires on AP1 are half a second faster on a 1 minute course and vise versa

^^^This.

I upgraded over a year ago to AP2V1s, and I LOVE them. The car looks sooooo much better, and after getting 225F, 255R Dunlop Direzza Star Specs this year, I am ecstatic with how the car drives.

Ap2 rims are a great and cheap upgrade. I love mine. I have four rears though for non staggered.

The two biggest benefits:

1. Much wider range of tire choices.

2. Looks tons better than the OEM 16".

Honestly, I doubt I ever go to an aftermarket wheel unless I go forced induction and need a wider wheel in the rear.

Def a upgrade.

im still looking for a set locally.
AP2v1 or V3.
not a fan of the V2.

i like the AP1's.
theyre not bad wheels and i think for stocks, they look great.
i just think the AP2s look better.

I powercoated my stock DC2R Enkei's - and tracked alot on them. Not one issue. Then I paint stipped them with chemical paint stripper and repainted them - when I sold the car. They are still perfectly fine today.

I am running AP2v2's on mine - I love the look - I think it updates the look a huge amount.

I just switched to AP2V3 wheels and love it! Better choice in tires, wider wheels, improved looks. Paid only $425 for wheels with OEM tires with 7k miles on them!
