Article in Modified Mag
Before anyone says it first, yeah I know it's Modified Mag and should take any advise with a grain of salt. There is an article pertaining the growing trend of increasing front wheel width to increase front tire grip in turn making the cars understeer less / oversteer more. I'm just fishing for opinions but does this sound right to anyone?
"Even the S2000, which in the US is commonly tuned with 8" wide front rims and 9" wide rear rims is being equipped with 9" front and 9" rear rims by time attack experts such as Amuse, ASM and J's racing..."
From what I've browsed in this section the advise given out is very much in set in stone. Only a small window of variance is recommended by S2ki members it seems. What those sizes are I'm not exactly sure of. Honestly, I'm trying to soak up as much information as I can so I can look at buying the RIGHT wheels for what I want (street/track) unlike last time.
Any and all input is welcomed. Thank you.

It already has a strong tendency to oversteer, with the stagered setup;could only make it worse with wider front rims and tires !
