Default Axis Reverb fitment

Axis recommends runing 18 x 8.5F +45 and 9.5R +55. I've known the owner of Axis for a long time and trust that he knows what he's doing. But, if my calculation is correct, this offset will add an extra 35mm from the stock wheel's face to the fender lip in both the front and rear. Does this seem a bit aggressive to anyone? Will this set up rub? Thanks in advance.

I think you should be fine with those offsets

Stock height you might be ok but will most likely rub during hard cornering and bumps. I'd try to stay on the shorter side of tire sizes and a more aggressive alignment would help too.

Thanks for the input.

I plan on running a koni yellow with eibach combo. Is there a recommended tire size so that I can avoid rubbing as much as possible?

well I know of someone on the board who is running 17x7.5 and 17x8.5 with 43 up front and 48 in the back and he is also lowered on eibach's and he has no rub, he's running 225's up front and 245's in back.

Thanks everyone for the help. i'm probably going with their 18x7.5 +42, 18x8.5 +45. It'll save me 3mm on the rear and I'll probably be ok with 245/35 falken GRBs.
