Default BEST TIRE

I have a '04 S2000, with Bridgestone RE050's.
I am on the market to buy new tires for the rear and I have considered the Good Year F1 GS D3's. Does anyone have any input on how good the Good Year F1 GS D3's are compared to the Bridgestone RE050's? Any input would be much appreciated...

You don't want to mix tires. The Goodyears test well but have weak sidewalls that effect steering feel and turn-in response. They feel mushy. The Mishelin PS2's are superb, but the 225 255 combo gives you less stagger and a bit more oversteer. A stronger front swaybar, 00-01, will compensate for this.

I agreee in that if you are only going to replace the rear you should stay with the Bridgestone tire. If you are going to replace all four there are some very good option out there. It really depends on what you want from the tire as to which is the best.
