Default best way to weigh

hey guys.. whats the best way to weigh just a wheel. was thinking about taking my weight and holding the rim on a scale. do tire/wheel shops do this? i just got some ray's VRX wheels. they're a few years old so not sure if anyone has heard of them. if anyone knows the weight of this wheel, please let me know. couldnt find it on yahoo. -david

It shouldn't be that hard. Standing on the scale holding the wheel and subtracting your weight is fine. Otherwise you can just set the wheel on a larger scale - the Publix brand of supermarkets we have in FL have large scales customers can use near the entreances, so you might be able to find something like that.
