Default Help selecting tire size

I currently have 18" wheel with 18*7.5 F and 18*8.5 R. After talking to the sale representative from tirerack, he told me to use 215/40/18 F and 245/35/18 R. What do you guys think? or should i go with 235/40/18 for the rear? I don't want the tire to stick out too much but also want to keep the rolling radious same as stock 24.9 diameter. I also want to lower maybe 1.5" or less later on. THanks guys

HElo he825 18*7.5, offset 42, backspacing 5.90
18*8.5, offset 45, backspacing 6.52

Currently have 225/40/18 F and 245/4018 R. They stick out and don't look good and 245/40/18 is too tall from what I read in the forum

The sizes you mention are correct. You have a lowere offset wheel and any wider and they are going to rub.
Give me a call if I can help.

so 215/40/18 F and 245/35/18 R make my car handle better and same rolling radius as stock? Plus It does not stick out correct? Thanks Jim
