Blizzak ratings
I ran LM22's on my S2000 the last 2 winters. I plan to replace them with WS50's next year. IMO LM22's are marginal in snow, true they are very good when the roads are dry you'll notice minimal handling differences under most driving conditions. But if you anticipate much driving when there's snow on the road I think WS50's are a better choice even though dry weather handling will be some what compromised. I have been using WS50's for 10 years now on my beater, a 1992 Mazda MPV which is a rear drive vehicle and am amazed at how efficiently these tire get me thru some truly nasty winters.
I've ran Blizzak LM-22s for 3 winters (goin on 4th) and I agree with what others have said with respect to LM series vs WS series.
In my case the LM's worked out best because I really don't need to take my S out in 6in+ snow storms. In Milwaukee, we only get 6inch plus snow maybe 4 to 6 times a winter. Those are days (if it's a workday) I just dial into the office.
I run my LMs from Thanksgiving to last week in March. 90% of that span I'm driving on cold, wet/dry, salty pavement. The other 10% might be packed or fresh snow. Considering all of this, the LM's are A-OK for me.
Spring/Summer/Fall I run S-02s. The LMs are in some ways a bit of a soft-ride relief to the rock-hard S-02s

I would recommend the Blizzak LM series if you don't really get the snow. They are going to handle better in the wet and dry than the WS50. The WS50 would work better in an area that gets a lot of snow.
If I can help let me know.
Thank you
