bore of wheels too small for front hub
Guys I need help. I have these mzx3 mugen rims I purchased and I didn’t realize the bore of the wheels were 64mm. I tried putting the wheels on the front of my s2000 and it wouldn’t slide in all the way. I then found out the front wheel hub was 70.1mm. Is there anything I can do to get the wheel to fit besides boring out the wheels. Can i run spacers or hub centric rings or anything? Really don’t want to have to sell the wheels. Thanks if anyone can help

Hub centric rings fit a larger bore wheel to a smaller bore hub to keep the hub centric setup, so they wont help you here. Are you sure the wheels fit in other ways? What is the diameter, width and offset? Spacers could work but you would need to see how many it will take and determine if you should run extended lugs with them.

Warning: I am not recommending this because it is a do at your own risk sort of thing.
I took my old Panasport G7 C5C2 to a machine shop and had the hub bore machined from 60ish to whatever the S2000 needs. They worked. But I don’t drive the car a ton and never take it on track or anything like that.
Modifying safety equipment is always a risk and I, again, do not recommend it but that is what I did.

5mm is the max without extended studs. I can’t imagine you are going to be tracking with those wheels so I’d just keep an eye on it and check the lugs are torqued down regularly. You could always put on longer studs if you are really worried about it. But those are basically your choices. Spacer or having the wheel bored out. Or I guess buy different wheels.

just bore it out- cost me $20/rim at a professional machining shop. Far less $ than studs/spacer. Literally, walk into a machine shop with the rim, tell them what you need, and a few days later, they'll be done and done.
