i remember reading about this pic before. guy got hit while sitting at a stop light. No wheel snaps like that from being curbed or daily driven

yea pics like that don't really tell you anything... I bet BBS LM's would be almost as f'ed up if not just as much.

IMO I would buy the real deal used because when you sell you will get all your money back (as long as you haven't damaged them)

To me its not a big deal to buy lower brand name wheels like rota/drag wheels. If you just use them for daily driving/occasional track days, they will be perfect. But if you are tracking your car, higher quality wheels are a must especially since they are designed to handle that type of abuse. But for the topic starter, I would go with Liena Corsa lm replicas if you want that type of design. With the no name lm reps, I think you just risk running into possible fitment/quality issues. Just save up a bit longer and you'll be rewarded for it.

I bought ASA AR1 wheels for my winter setup. They are a licensed BBS copy and, while a bit heavy, are a decent quality wheel. The BBS wheels are pretty heavy anyways, so you're not losing out a lot.
