Aftermarket lugs for aftermarket wheels!

Copied from another site:
OEM/stock wheels have a ball-seat & require lug-nuts which are acorn-like in shape (seat). . .

After-market wheels have a tapered-seat & require after-market tuner lug-nuts which conical in shape (ie. seat). . .

OEM lug-nuts are wider around the sides as well as the base/seat. Even if they can fit into the narrower lug-holes of after-market wheels, it doesn't mean they are meant for the the application. .

You can't properly torque the lug-nuts onto the bolts w/o having proper lug-nuts that are properly seated (yes, you're supposed to use a calibrated torque wrench, not just turn the tire-iron till yer' tired & can't no 'mo). And you're likely damaging your alloy-wheel's lug-openings by using the larger/wider ball-seat OEM lug-nuts. . .

I know you are local (Denver)...what body work do you have planned to get these super low offsets to fit? Who is doing the work?

dropped on tein springs im rolling my fenders my self (rolled many cars). i put one rear wheel on and it sits flush but its cutting it close. so some minor rolling is needed. im not slammed or anywhere near slammed. the wheels were too great of a price to let go, only 500 with brand new tires. im running 225/40, stretched in the back and slight stretch in the front.

and what lugs would you recomend that actually fit? i have bad luck with lugs, bought one set and didnt fit -___-
i know its 12mmx1.5, would these be long enough?? i talked to the guy on the website and he said i needed but a second opinion is always good!

Not bad pricing overall...will let everyone know what I think once I get them in. After looking at a million images this week of the rims on various cars, it actually looks good and quality seems to be, at a minimum, the same as OEM, so I'll give them a go. Will post pics once I have them on along with my other mods.

In for some pictures...

Great service by Tire Rack as usual. Ordered them on Thursday the 9th, got to my place on Monday the 13th. Got them on and think they look great (can tell I need to do some lowering springs in the near future though). Will take pictures and post once my CF splitter comes on.

Thanks for the help Jim!!!

Got them on and also got my DownForce CF Splitter for AP2 with Lip installed as well. I think it looks really good, especially in person. Let me know what you think! Downforce side splitters in CF and lowering springs coming soon!
