I'm currently running ap2v2 wheels on my spa yellow ap1. I love the rims there my favorite of all the factory rims hands down. However if they were a shade or two darker like the cr rims I would love them foreve and never feel the need to upgrade again. No one powder coats around me. However a bit ago I saw a set on here that had a coat of clear tinted and sprayed on. They looked perfect. I have a trusted painter in mind, but what is the process involved in this. Should I get my rims sand blasted first to remove the clear coat ? I still want to retain the metallic look as well.
