Curb removal help!
Hello I dont think im posting this in the right section but I need some help..I have rota D2 on my s2k and the guy before had curb on it and I wanna redo the lip...I want take the curb out the best I can and polish them again so they look new! I want them to shine alot! Also I want to repaint the face on the rims I just dont know what color any suggestions? but most important fixing the curb and redoing the lips! Thanks

sucky part about d2's is they are not a 2 piece wheel.
easiest way to remove curb marks is to remove the tires and sand the dishes with some 400 grit and work your way all the way up to 1500-2000 grit. then polish wit mothers aluminum polish or something similar.
I would paint the wheels silver.

I mean you can go as far as you want till your happy with it. I did that with my OEM wheels just to clean them up and came out really good after I resprayed them you could hardly tell

2000 grit isnt to much?
here are two threads from my tt. I refinished a set of Volk Gt-p's on it. I started with 400 grit and worked all the way up to 2000 grit... Then as i said i used mothers aluminum polish. They turned out great!
